I’m just starting out in business. Do I have to do all the courses?
Congratulations on your new business. The quick answer is no, you don’t. We will work out with you which courses are the most relevant to you at the moment to make sure that you grow your business as quickly as possible.
How much does it cost?
We offer nine short training modules so that you can pick and mix the training workshops that will help you grow your business. This flexibility enables you to choose the modules that best fit your objectives and personnel’s experience levels.
The workshops are available in either 1.5 or 3 hour modules and the pricing starts at £150 (+VAT) per delegate (for one 1.5 hour module) with a minimum booking value of £450 (+VAT), subject to the number of trainers attending to deliver the workshops.
We can also offer full day training modules as part of a bespoke package, please contact us to discuss your requirements.
I’d like to do lots of practical exercises; do you do a full day training session?
Yes we do. If you like the sound of any of our courses, we can deliver them in 1.5 hour, half day or full day modules to fit your personnel’s’ experience levels. Or you can pick and mix a range of courses to fill up several days. Please

I leave marketing and PR to my agencies. Why do I need a workshop to tell me what they do?
In our experience, the more promotional skills you have in-house, the more value you will be able to get from your agencies, both in terms of the quality of their work and the price you are paying. You will also be able to make sure that your internal marketing and PR personnel are all aware of the opportunities to grow your business through joining your promotional dots.
My business is well-established so I don’t need training in strategy but I do think some of the newer members of my team need some help while longer serving staff just need a refresher. Can you help?
Yes we can. We are experienced trainers who are used to helping teams with varying levels of experience and skill reach the same level of knowledge. Our sessions are inclusive, supportive and interactive so everyone can share their experience.

How do I find out more?

How do I book?
Once we’ve had a chat to work out exactly which workshops will help you and your staff gain the skills you need the most to promote your business, we will send you a proposal confirming the details with a booking form. Simply complete the booking form and return it with payment and we’ll sort out the rest.
How do I pay?
All invoiced fees are due within 14 days of the invoice date. Where an invoice is issued less than 14 days prior to the training event, payment must be made in full and cleared at least seven days before the event takes place. When we invoice you, we will ask you to provide a purchase order number (if your business uses them) and accounts payable contact details.
Our preferred method of payment is by BACS payment, and our bank account details will be supplied on confirmation of your booking.
These details are also on the bottom of our invoice. Any cheque payments should be made payable to Grand Union PR Ltd and the invoice number must be quoted on the remittance advice or the back of the cheque.
Any disputed fees must be notified in writing within seven days of receipt of an invoice. We understand and will exercise our statutory right to claim interest and compensation charges under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts [Interest] Act 1998 as amended and supplemented by the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Regulations 2002 if payment is not received in accordance with our agreed terms of payment. We may charge interest at a rate 4% above the base rate of the Bank of England from the due date until the date of payment.
Where are the workshops held?
Our training courses are non-residential and can be held either at your offices or at a suitable local venue. We offer a venue finding service for a fee of £100 plus VAT. You will be invoiced directly for refreshments and any equipment hire required.
How long do the workshops last?
You can start with our minimum booking of a half day workshop of either two 1.5 hour sessions or one 3 hour session for 1 to 8 delegates. Alternatively you can book a full day training workshop of either four different 1.5 hour sessions or two different 3 hour sessions or 6 hours on one subject (subject to trainer availability).
Can I spread a series of workshops over a period of time?
Yes. As long as you book a minimum of a half-day session each time, you can spread your training courses over whatever period of time suits you up to a maximum of twelve months. Please see our

How will I know which are the best workshops for my company?
